Letter from Rabbi Yaakov Yissacher Ber Rosenbaum, Admor of Nodvorna
[1] letterhead. 18x23 cm.
Letter from the Admor of Nodvorna, Bnei Brak, dated the 8th of Tevet 1979. Greetings and blessing for Rabbi Yisrael Aryeh Zalmanowitz. The letter was written by a member of the Admor's household, but it ends with four lines written and signed by the Admor himself, "awaiting heavenly compassion.."
Rabbi Yaakov Yissacher Ber Rosenbaum [1930-2012] authored the Be'er Yaakov. He served as Admor in Bnei Brak, in the corner of the Vishnitz neighborhood. He was a fifth generation descendant of Rabbi Mordechai of Nodvorna. He was a noted holy person and ascetic. His chassidim included Lithuanian followers and rabbis from other chassidic courts.
Very fine condition.
