Thick travelogue in German by M. Heinrich Bunting, published in Frankfurt in 1752. Includes tens of engravings and maps of the Holy Land, Jerusalem, Temple Mount, Temple vessels and more.
Bunting [1545-1606] was a Hanover-born, German priest, theologian and cartographer. This is one of the most significant travelogues. First published in 1581, it provides a complete, comprehensive description of Biblical geography. Many editions of the book have since been printed in many languages.
