Approximately [36] notes with halachic comments handwritten and signed by the gaon Rabbi Nachum Shmaryahu Shechter.
[2] notes signed with his full name. The rest are initialled (נש"ש).
His important work, Beit HaMidrash Shem V'Ever, Jerusalem, 1965, is included.
Rabbi Nachum served as av beit din of Dorban, and then in Huşi. He was a disciple of the wonder-worker, Rabbi Avraham Matityahu of Shefanesht, and even published a book about him after he passed away, entitled Aniyat Amen. He lived in the Land of Israel at the end of his life.
