Shulchan Aruch HaRav by Rebbe Shneur Zalman of Liadi – the Baal HaTanya. Zhitomir: R. Chanina Lipa and R. Yehoshua Heshel Shapira, grandsons of the rabbi of Slavita, 1855. Six parts in five volumes (Yoreh De'ah and Choshen Mishpat parts printed together).
This is the first edition to include sections 155-156 of Orach Chaim.
With approbation by R. Hillel of Paritch and R. Yitzchak Eizik Rabbi of Vitebsk.

Vol. I (Orach Chaim, part I): [7], 5-124, 129-169 leaves. Vol. II (Orach Chaim, part II): [3], 175; 64 leaves. Leaves 2-3 bound after leaf 5. Vol. III (Orach Chaim, part III): [2], 128; 96 leaves. Lacking second title page and final leaf (originally: [3], 128; 97 leaves). Vol. IV (Yoreh De'ah and Choshen Mishpat): [2], 167 leaves. Vol. V (responsa): [1], 2-42 leaves. Approx. 21-22 cm. Overall good-fair condition, vol. I in fair condition. Stains, including dampstains. Worming, affecting text. Extensive worming to vol. I. Tears to several leaves, including tears to two title pages, slightly affecting borders, repaired with paper. Open tear to one leaf of vol. I, affecting text. Stamps and handwritten inscriptions. New bindings.
Additional copy of vol. III enclosed, for replacement of second title page ([3], 128 leaves only, without final 96 leaves).
