Victorian Pinchbeck Locket Pendant on a Link Chain
Victorian Pinchbeck Locket Pendant on a Link Chain, England, 19th Century.
The necklace is made of pinchbeck with a massive link chain and a large oval locket.
The locket is hung on a decorated large bale.
It is fully ornamented with a front shield showing a lion crest over yellow enamel background.
The back of the locket is decorated with scrolled pattern engravings.
The locket opens on a hinge revealing two old family photos.
Chain length - 48cm / 18.9in.
Pendant - 5.5cm X 4cm / 2.16 X 1.57in.
