Letter addressed to R. Yaakov Gordon of Bournemouth by noted rabbinic scholar and writer, Rabbi Avraham Resnik, Rabbi of Aschawad, Russia, dated 1907 and sent from Kiev.
Rabbi Avraham Resnik (1866-1942), Rabbi of Aschawad in Russia, before settling in America in 1924 and serving as Rabbi in New York, Rochester and other communities. Author of many rabbinic publications and contributions to rabbinic journals, under the pen-name ‘Rabbi A N Ezrikam’.
