Rabbi Shimon ben Yitzchak Halevi Oshenburg, one of the sages of Frankfurt, in the generation of the Maharal and the author of the Levushim. Author of "Massores HaBris" (Lublin, 1572). Published in Venice, in 1588, the first edition of his Sefer "Devek Tov" , during his journey to immigrate to Eretz Yisroel and settle in Jerusalem.
Moth holes, aging stains, blemished semi-leather binding, detached gathering, gluings to the sides of the first [2] leaves and the corners of the last leaf, poor-fair condition.
