Avodas HaKodesh, four sections instructing man on the desirable Avodas HaKodesh, by Rabbi Meir ben Rabbi Yechezkel Even-Gabai. Yitzchak ben Aharon of Prostitz Press, [1577-1578]. The year 1577 appears on the title page and 1578, on the colophon. An earlier edition was printed in 1567 in Venice titled "Maros Elokim".
139 leaves, 29 cm. Owner's inscriptions in Sephardic script on the back of the title page ("I have bought this Sefer from Yitzchak Halevi... may I merit to study [?] it and my descendants until the end of all generations") and in a foreign language on the last leaf. Censor by erasing some words, which are still readable.
New binding, much moth damage, blemishes and restoration to the title page affecting the text, stains, fair condition.
