Darkei Tzeddek, Hanhagos Tovos in Avodas Hashem, by the holy Rav Rabbi Zecharya Mendel of Yaroslav, with Derech Emes by the holy Rav Rabbi Meshulam Fiebish Halevi Heller. [Lemberg? ca. 1830]. One of the first editions. 


Sefer Darkei Tzeddek with Derech Emes which is Hanhagos Tovos, many say that it is a manuscript by Rabbi Zecharya Mendel of Yaroslav. And the Sefer Derech Emes by the Tzaddik Rav Meshulam Feibish Halevi Heller. [Lemberg? ca. 1830]. 


[16] leaves, 18 cm. Missing [2] leaves at the end of 'Darkei Tzeddek'.


The holy Rav Rabbi Zecharya Mendel, 'Rabbi Mendel the Chassid' [ca. 1720-1795] of Yaroslav in Galicia. His father, Rabbi Moshe Yehoshua, served as Av Beis Din in Totshin, Strim, DRidetz and Ravitch. Rabbe Zecharya Mendel was the disciple of his mother's brother the holy Rav Rabbi Shmelke and the holy Rav Pinchas Horowitz, a disciple of the Maggid of Zlotshov and the scribe and leading disciple of the holy Rav Rabbi Elimelech of Lizhensk. Was the Rav of the holy Rav Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Kosov. His Sefer "Darkei Tzeddek" was published in 1796 and had dozens of editions ever since. 

The holy Rav Rabbi Meshulam Fiebish Halevi Heller [ca. 1740-1794] of Zabriza in Fodolia, one of the greatest Tzaddikim of his generation, who had many disciples. His father, Rabbi Aharon Moshe Halevi served as Av Beis Din of Saniatin. Rabbi Meshulam Feibish was a disciple of Rabbi Moshe Zvi Heller Av Beis Din of Bashkevich and a leading disciple of the Maggid of Zlotshov. Author of "Yosher Divrei Emes" and "Derech Emes". 


Note: According to the Encyclopedia for the Sages of Galicia, 2, p. 659,  the Sefer "Darkei Emes" was printed in itself, separate from the Lvov 1830 edition and was printed together with Sefer "Darkei Tzeddek" starting with the Lvov 1857 edition. However according to the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book and the National Library, these Seforim were published together in ca. 1830.
