Long cashmere coat from the wardrobe of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka Schneersohn, wife of the Lubavitcher Rebbe and her sister Rebbetzin Chanah Gurary, wife of R. Shemaryahu Gurary (the Rashag) – daughters of Rebbe Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn, the Rayatz of Lubavitch. [1940s].
Letter of authenticity enclosed (handwritten note, in English), signed in Hebrew by Rebbetzin Chanah Gurary (1899-1991): "I hereby gift… the Carol Brent cashmere coat worn by my sister and I in the 1940s". Dated 17th September 1989.
