Four drafts of proclamations with the signatures of leading rabbis of Bnei Brak, three of them signed by Rebbe Chaim Meir Hager, the Imrei Chaim of Vizhnitz - orders of prayer for the time leading up to the Six-Day War, and orders of thanksgiving for Shavuot, following the war. Bnei Brak, Iyar and Sivan 1967.
Typewritten drafts, hand-signed by leading rabbis:
• Proclamation instructing to recite Psalms and pray, with words of inspiration and faith. Signed by: R. Yaakov Landau, rabbi of Bnei Brak (typewritten signature); R. Shmuel HaLevi Wosner Rabbi of the Zichron Meir neighborhood; R. Avraham Shlomo Katz of Riskeva, rabbi of the Yitav Lev Satmar community in Bnei Brak; R. Yitzchak Shlomo Ungar, dean of the Chug Chatam Sofer yeshiva; Rebbe Chaim Meir Hager of Vizhnitz. [Bnei Brak, Iyar 1967?].
• Call to hold a public fast-day on Thurdsay, 22nd Iyar, in response to the situation. Signed by: R. Yaakov Landau, R. Shmuel HaLevi Wosner, Rebbe Chaim Meir Hager of Vizhnitz, R. Avraham Shlomo Katz, R. Yitzchak Shlomo Ungar. Bnei Brak, 21st Iyar 1967.
• Order of thanksgiving for Shavuot, for the miraculous victory and recovery of the holy sites. Signed by: R. Yaakov Landau, R. Shmuel HaLevi Wosner and R. Avraham Shlomo Katz. [Bnei Brak, Sivan 1967].
• Order of thanksgiving for Shavuot, signed by Rebbe Chaim Meir Hager of Vizhnitz, with a special request to pray for the wounded and a note to maintain standards of modesty when visiting the holy sites. [Bnei Brak, Sivan 1967].
Enclosed: Early draft of the last-mentioned proclamation (not signed) - typewritten leaf, with handwritten additions (incorporated in the final version).
