1848 Cabernet Sauvignon Winery Vintage 2011
1848 Winery is the first premium winery in Israel, founded in a family cellar on the eastern side of the Western Wall wall. Since then, for eight generations, the family has become a leader in the wine industry, producing exceptional wines from premium grapes grown in the most selected vineyards in the Galilee. This reserve wine was produced from the grapes of the noble varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Syrah. The wine was aged in new and fine French oak barrels for 24 months. Its deep burgundy color has a powerful nose with aromas of roasted coffee and eucalyptus. In the mouth the wine exhibits vanilla fruit flavors and blackberries. The body of the wine is concentrated and caressing with a long and impressive finish. The wine is filled and bottled without filtration and shading processes in order to preserve the best quality components inherent in it.
