Gustavo Bar Valenzuela was born in Santiago, Chile in 1974. He started his formal studies of Painting with Master Ricardo Ramírez, the founder of Arte Real International Painting School and graduated in Art History
and Restoration from SEK International University of Chile. He combined his skills with influences from Flemish and Venetian school and Baroque technique to create a fresh and revisited realism, rooted in the updated traditions of the old masters. His recent
paintings have a strong contemporary feel and picture modern life in a classical way.
