Group of [3] interesting and important letters from the  Ra'ava"d of Warsaw, the gaon Rabbi Shlomo David Kahane, who managed to escape the burning Europe by the skin of his teeth, and renew his community and his yeshivah in the Land of Israel. Jerusalem, 1940-1944.


Content of the letters:

1. Request to open a branch of the Etz Chaim yeshivah in the Churvah synagogue, which was emptying out. Av, 1940.

2. Announcement that he has succeeded in establishing a junior yeshivah - Beit Va'ad L'Chachamim - for the purposes of Torah lessons and lectures for youth, halachic debates and in-depth study of works by the Later Authorities. It was named for the gaon Rabbi Chaim Ozer ztzuk"l. He asks the gaon Rabbi Yechiel Michel Tukachinsky to be honored with lecturing the students. Elul, 1940.

3. Announcement of the opening of an additional branch, named for Rabbi Ya'akov Guzenteihat, and a request for the key to the books at the Churvah synagogue!
