Appeal for the formation of a world rabbinic association.

Background for the lot: At the first General Assembly of the Rabbinic Association for Tel Aviv and the surrounding area, which took place in Adar 1936, approximately 150 people participated from the Land of Israel, including leading rabbis of Jerusalem. There was a decision to begin to found a world rabbinic association with the purpose of uniting all the existing rabbinic associations in various countries to raise the banner of the Torah and religion among the Jewish people.


In the lot: Copies of letters from Rabbi Menachem Ziemba and Rabbi Mendel Alter of Pabianitz, who supported the idea. There is also a letter from Rabbi Chaim Ozer of Vilna, who opposed the idea.
