This Sefer was published after the Koretz 1804 edition, from which the version of the title page was copied according to which these compilations, by the Maggid of Mezeritch, were hidden and were partly printed in the Sefer "Likutei Amaraim" [Koretz, 1781] "and now we have merited a second time to publish his Amarim" from a manuscript that was owned by Rabbi Yeshayahu [ben Rabbi Klonymus Halevi] Maggid Meisharim from Donvitz.
In Toldos HaChassidus (pp. 88-89), Shimon Dubnov wrote that the printed hid the fact that this Sefer presents the same Derashos that were printed in the Sefer 'Maggid Devarav LeYaakov' [Likutei Amaraim, Koretz, 1781]; in this Sefer, however, the Derashos are arranged after the order of Biblical verses and Talmudic Ma'amarim. Nevertheless, he assumed that Rabbi Yeshaya of Donvitz indeed had one of the other copying of "Likutei Amaraim" and valued it due to textual variations between these two Seforim.
