Sefer Divrei Tzaddikim, Torah innovations by the holy Rav Rabbi Dov Berish of Ushpitzin. [Lvov?], [1851]. Second edition.
[34] leaves, 19 cm.
Rabbi Dov Berish ben Rabbi Moshe Frumer (1780-1837) author of "Divrei Tzaddikim", was leading disciple of the holy Rav Rabbi Shlomo Buchner of Kshanov. In his youth was a Melamed in Ushpitzin, hiding his Torah greatness. The Admorim of his generation greatly appreciated him. The Chozeh of Lublin and Rabbi Naftali of Rupshitz said that the light of Torah Lishma shines from him. Since 1828, succeeded his Rav as Admor and many gathered around him. Was renowned as a miracle worker. Miraculous stories about him were presented in the Sefer "Shlosha Edrei Tzon" (Przemyśl, 1874) and "Svah Ratzon" (Podgorza, 1901). His grandson, the Gaon Rabbi Aryeh Zvi Frumen, Av Beis Din of Koziglov, was one of the heads of Yeshivas Chachmei Lublin.
