Wonderful museum-worthy item. A handsome tzedakah box with silver, golden decorations, and inlaid gemstones.
Large tzedakah box with a handle, hexagonally shaped and made of metal, with silver decorations, filigree work, some coated in gold, standing on three legs. The roof is a kind of dome, at the top of which is a stylish slot and a gilded inscription of the word “tzedakah” on both sides. Can be opened from the bottom. Inlaid colorful gemstones in a pretty pattern, on the sides, roof. Matching handle is welded from the side. Pretty work. 700g. Height: 21cm. Light defects, overall good condition.
