Document Signed by the Rabbis of Safed and Rabbi Shmuel Heller regarding the Library of Beit Midrash Ha'Gadol beside Ha'Ari Synagogue in Safed - 1858
A handwritten document, from 1858, regarding the donation of a set of the Talmud to the great study hall adjacent to the Ari synagogue.
With details of the purchase and of the donor's request.
The document before us was written in the first year of the synagogue's restoration, which was built immediately after the Ari's death, and restored after the earthquake in Safed.
At the bottom of the document are the signatures of the Rabbi of the city, Rabbi Shmuel Heller, and signatures of "The gabbais of the Study Hall". As well as signatures of the Rabbis of Safed.

Condition: Good-Fair. Folding signs with cracks as a result. Glued and partially restored.
