Arugah Ketanah - unique work on the 248 positive commandments, written in rhyme by Rabbi Daniel Kalif. Hamburg, 1787. First edition. Rare book.
This is an interesting work about the positive commandments, divided into chadarim and arugot with details of the positive commandments. Written in rhyme in alphabetic order - forwards and backwards. There is a large and beautiful picture of a tree on leaf 3. It has six branches symbolizing the six constant mitzvahs.
20 leaves, 19.5 cm. Ancient inscription on the final page.
Fine condition: Aging stains. Slight wear in the margins of the leaves, without damage to text.
