Boris Schatz (23 December 1866 – 23 March 1932) was a Lithuanian Jewish artist and sculptor who settled in Palestine. Schatz, who became known as the "father of Israeli art," founded the Bezalel School in Jerusalem .

The catalog contains:
• An introduction: the program of the exhibition, a short list of dates from Schatz's life articles by prof. Yosef Klausner and M. Narkis, bibliography of the catalog.
• 466 numbered works of art, including a short description of each, from the days of Schatz in Vilnius (1882-1887), through Warsaw, Paris, Sofia and Jerusalem (1906-1932).
• Two works are not numbered yet described and five works "have been lost or cannot be exhibited".
