Here's a very rare pre-State Army Haggadah that was printed for "Plugah Ivrit LeHovalot Klallit 179". It was printed for Jewish soldiers serving in the British Army who were stationed in Italy at the time.
The Haggada contains elements of the terrible sufferings of the Jewish people under the Nazi's as well as Socialist elements (waving the flag of equality and freedom for all people) inside.
It is not traditional and nicely illustrated.
This Haggada was perhaps the FIRST edition.
Many of the soldiers who served in this unit after the war hunted down Nazi's and helped build the nascent Israel Defense Forces when the State came into being.
Condition: Some Holy stains which only add luster and historic importance to the owner of this Historic Hagadah!
