מכתב "שנה טובה" מאת האדמו"ר רבי יוסף יצחק שניאורסון – הריי"ץ מליובאוויטש, חתום בחתימת ידו. אוטבוצק, י"ט אלול תרצ"ח [1938].
מודפס במכונת כתיבה על נייר מכתבים רשמי של האדמו"ר הריי"ץ, וחתום בחתימת יד קדשו "יוסף יצחק".
נשלח אל הרה"ג הרה"ח ר' משה אריה לייב שפירא. במכתבו מברך האדמו"ר: "לקראת השנה החדשה... הנני מברך אותו ואת ביתו יחיו... בכתיבה וחתימה טובה על שנה טובה ומתוקה בגשמיות וברוחניות".
הרה"ג הרה"ח ר' משה אריה לייב שפירא (תרמ"ט-תשל"ב), ראש ישיבת תורת אמת ורב ומו"צ בשכונת בית ישראל בירושלים. בעת ביקורו של הריי"ץ בירושלים בשנת תרפ"ט, נמנה הרב שפירא בין מלוויו של האדמו"ר. מחבר הספרים "נימוקי מלבי"ם" ו"טבעות זהב" על קצות החושן.
