1948 NAHARIYA 3rd slogan, 26 MAR 1948, VF strikes front & backside on cover to Haifa, 10 mil Mandate stamps (3 mil + 7 mil) tied by QIRYAT HAIM 28 MAR 48, very clear postmark. The story behind this cover is due to stormy weather, the boat was forced to land at Haifa suburb Qiryat Haim and cover was postmarked at the Qiryat Haim post office, cover vert centerfold, open roughly with little creases and few traces of repair, still VF & very scarce, (similar item was sold a few years ago for $ 1100, signed by Muentz on front right side. VF & extremely rare!!
