“Mishneh Torah” of the Rambam, with “Kesef Mishneh” second section by Maran HaBeit Yosef—first edition. Venice 1574.

With writings of the Ra’avad, the Maggid Mishnah, and with “Kesef Mishnah” of the Gaon Yosef Karo. With some corections by hand from the period. First edition of the composition “Kesef Mishnah” on the Rambam printed by Maran HaBeit Yosef in his lifetime. Maran Yosef Karo, the Beit Yosef and Shulchan Aruch, in addition to these compositions, composed Kesef Mishneh on the Rambam, who didn’t note the origins of his book and treasure, Yad HaKhazaka, and thus many people arose against the Ramba. Karo named his book Kesef Mishneh to be in parallel with Maggid Mishneh, in which he responds to the Ra’avad’s claims and deeply discusses the Rambam. Second section, complete copy, page numbering is blurred. Lots of moth damage. Binding and pages are disconnected. Generally awful condition.
