Letter of Blessing from Rebbe Rayatz of Lubavitch – The Rebbe's Visit to the Vilna District – 1934 – "I Hope to Fulfill Their Wish and My Desire, to Meet in Material and Spiritual Joy and Gladness of Heart"
Letter from Rebbe Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn – the Rayatz of Lubavitch, with his hand signature. Warsaw, 28th Shevat 1934.
Typewritten on the official stationery of Rebbe Rayatz, with his signature "Yosef Yitzchak" and the addition of one word in his handwriting.
The letter was sent to Chabad Chassidim in the Vilna district, in response to their request that the Rayatz visit their place. In his letter, the rebbe replies: "I value and cherish meeting our fellow Chassidim, but according to my state of health… such a trip would be difficult for me to undertake in the winter, and please G-d, at the first opportunity after Passover, I hope to fulfill their wish and my desire, to meet in material and spiritual joy and gladness of the heart".
At the end of the letter, after the word "UMevarcham (=and blesses them), the rebbe added: "In material and spiritual matters" in his handwriting.

The present letter was not printed in Igrot Kodesh of Rebbe Rayatz.
