Collection of writings. Yemen and Ashkenaz. 15th-19th century
Collection of leaves and fragments from various manuscripts, primarily Yemenite, some kabbalistic, in addition to calendars. 15th-19th century.
About 40 leaves. Various sizes. Various scripts. Solitary leaves and pages, not bound.
Leaves 1-21: Fragments from the Torah with Targum Onkelos and the Books of Joshua and Amos with Aramaic Targum. Leaves 22b-23a: Homily on the Torah reading of Noach. Leaves 25a-27b: concise kabbalistic commentary on the weekly Torah readings entitled "Sefer Rabbeinu Bachya al HaTorah." Leaves 28b-30a: fragment from a kabbalistic work in an Oriental script. Leaves 31a-37b: hymns, prayer fragments, Ethics of the Fathers, and more in various hands, including later Ashkenazic scripts. Leaves 38b-40b: calendars for 1706-1728.
