Two title pages, the first illustrated. Nice, early edition of the Maginei Aretz. Wide margins: 7-8 cm.
Dozens of lengthy scholarly marginal glosses throughout the work. The comments were written by a number of authors. One lengthy gloss is signed by Yehoshua Heschel Rokach [leaf 19]; some other glosses were written in the same hand. The glosses were written by proficient Torah scholars.
Missing the last leaf - a half-page, with the end of the indexes. The last leaf in this work is blemished. The margins of the title page and solitary leaves have been added.
Luxurious leather binding. Aging stains. Fine condition.
