ANTI-SEMITIC OVERPRINTED GERMAN BANKNOTES
Lot of four scarce anti-Semitic Weimar Republic 1000 mark notes, each issued 1922 from Berlin, overprinted by the NSDAP on the verso with anti-Semitic election slogans, including a rare warning against 'Eastern Jew' Alexander Parvus, 'Comrades of the people! Come to Hitler, become a National Socialist!', and 'God the righteous! Again a new one is coming!' beneath a caricature of a Jew cowering beneath a swastika with the name 'Adolf Hitler'. Very good.
