Complete set in handsome bindings: Pri Tzaddik by Rabbi Tzadok of Lublin. First edition, Lublin 1901-34.

5 volumes of the work Pri Tzaddik on the Torah and holidays, an important work on Jewish thought based in chassidut by the Admor Rabbi Tzadok HaKohen of Lublin. Printed based on his drashot, which he would deliver orally every month and every shabbat, with additions from his writings. First edition, Lublin, began printing with Gensis in 1901 and finished with Deuteronomy in 1934. Each volume has two title pages, in some of the volumes the first title page is in red ink (Leviticus is missing the first title page).

Section 1: Kedushat Shabbat, pamphlet Shivtat Shabbat, Genesis, Rosh Chodesh, Chanukkah, pamphlet HaEt HaOchel. 1901. [2], 48, 120, [5 subscriber leaves] leaves.

Section 2: On Genesis and Rosh Chodesh and Purim and the 4 parshiyot leading up to Pesach. 1907. [1], 123 leaves.

Section 3: On Leviticus and Rosh Chodesh and Pesach, with a pamphlet Amala shel Torah at the end. 1922. [1], 111 leaves [original; as stated this copy is missing the first title page]. Section 4: Numbers, Rosh Chodesh, and Shavuot. 1933. [2], 120, [4 subscriber pages] leaves. Section 5: Deuteronomy, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot. 1934. [2], 136 [8 subscriber pages] leaves. New, handsome leather bindings, light defects, complete copy in good condition.


Volume of Numbers (4) on the title page: “Moga”. Genesis has a signature on the title page: “Yisrael Yitzhak”. Blank first page: “Rabbi Yisrael Yitzhak Zlatovsky.”
