Lengthy Responsum on Hilchos Chametz Handwritten by Posek HaDor Moron the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Feinstein, New York, 1950.
The responsum waas written to Rabbi Uri Meir Kahanov, one of the rabbis of the Torah VaDa'at Yeshiva (Rabbeinu ends the letter with the words: "His friend who greatly appreciates him, Moshe Feinstein"). The responsum, as everything wirtten by Rabbi Moshe Feinstein, is written with great genius and demonstrates Rabbi Feinstein's immense knowledge of the Shas and Poskim. Eventually the responsum was printed in his Sefer 'Shut Igrot Moshe' (Orach Chaim A).
The Great Gaon Rabbi Moshe Feinstein [1895-1986], one of the great Poskim of the recent generation, the spiritual leader of American Jews. Served as the chairman of Moetzet Gedolei HaTorah of Agudas Yisroel in the USA. In addition the Rosh Yeshiva of the 'Metivta Tiferet Yerushalayim' Yeshiva. Was renowned for his diligent study of the Torah and his extraordinary knowledge of it. Rabbi Moshe was also renowned for his charity and the good deeds he did for any man. From all over the world people turned to him with halachic questions as well as requests for advice and blessings, which were always complied.
