Bronze colored participants stick-pin of the 1932 Shavuot Holiday festivities ("Hagigot HaBikurim") in Haifa; maker marked "F" or Hebrew-letter "Shin"; size: 15 x 31.5mm; weight: 1g. Shavuot festivities were a ritual occurrence across most of pre-State Israel from the smallest locales to large cities. On this occasion the head of the Jewish National Fund, Menachem Ussishkin, delivered an address. In modern conception Shavuot is associated with the first harvest of the year but more importantly it commemorates Israel receiving the Torah through Moses at Mount Sinai.
