Rare and comprehensive composition about the development of the dispute, from a perspective sympathetic to Sadigura. The book's chapters were originally printed serially in the "Hebrew" weekly, New York, (14 January-14 July, 1916) under the title "L'Korot HaChassidut."
The Sanz-Sadigura dispute was one of the most terrible intra-Chassidic disputes. It includes paskevilim and very serious accusations - from both sides - about the most severe transgressions. The affair is shrouded in fog, and more is hidden than is known. In official Chassidic literature, there is almost no mention of it, and it is whispered in undertones among scholars of Chassidism. The book before us is one of the earliest sources for understanding the painful affair.
