Rabbi Chaim Alter David Leifer - from Nadvorna - Haifa. Son-in-law of Rabbi Elhanan Halperin. (Av Beit Din of Radashmila), studied at the Sanz Yeshiva in Netanya and served as rabbi of the community in Haifa.
His father
Rabbi Aharon Yechiel of Nadvorna on the ship Safed. Opened a Beit Midrash called "Nezer Hakodesh" in Safed. His house was open to all. He died in Sivan 5760 and was buried in the ancient cemetery in Safed.
