Neviim Rishonim, Neviim Acharonim and Ketuvim, with the classic commentaries and the commentary of the Gaon of Vilna. Incomplete set (four volumes out of six). Vilna, 1838-1843. Second edition of the commentary of the Gaon of Vilna on Neviim and Ketuvim, based on the Horodna-Vilna 1820 edition (Minchat Shai was printed on the relevant pages rather than independently). Two title pages for each volume. Title pages printed in red and black.
Four of six volumes – Part II: Melachim and Divrei HaYamim; Part IV: Yechezkel and Trei Asar; Part V: Tehillim and Mishlei; Part VI: Iyov, Daniel, Ezra and Nechemia.
In the present volumes, the commentary of the Gaon of Vilna is found in Part II, on the books of Melachim and Divrei HaYamim, and at the end of Part IV, on the books of Yechezkel, Hoshe'a and Chabakuk. Parts V and VI do not include the commentary of the Gaon of Vilna. Part III was printed many years after the other parts (in 1853), see Bibliography of the Hebrew Book.
Four volumes. Part II: [2], 213, [5] leaves. Part IV: [2], 128, 117, [2] leaves (without maps, as in the copy listed in the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book. Vinograd does not record maps in this edition either). Part V: [2], 208 leaves. Vol. VI: [2], 76, 66 leaves. Approx. 24 cm. Wide margins. Condition varies, good-fair. Stains and wear. Tears. Traces of past dampness and mold in vol. II. Paper repairs to both title pages of vol. IV, slightly affecting border. Handwritten inscriptions and signatures. Stamps. Two volumes in original leather bindings (damaged), and two volumes in new bindings. Bookplates.
