Sysilyatin Georgiy Andreevich (born 1936, Blagovechzhinsk - 2010).
Honored Artist of Russia. In 2005 the Russian Academy of Arts awarded him its Gold medal. He studied at Moscow textile Institute in Surikov MSIA under V.V. Pochitalov. He is a participant of the exhibitions and a member of Artists’ Union since 1964. He is a constant participant of Moscow, republican, all-union and foreign exhibitions. His one-man exhibition took place in 1987 in Central Artists’ House, in 1997 in the Academy of Arts. He is the author of the thematic pictures, portraits, landscapes and still lives. The masterpieces of the artist are presented in the State Tretyakov Gallery and in the State Russian Museum, in the museum of Modern Arts of Russia, in the collections of more than 50 museums of Russia and countries of SNG, in private collections of Russia and abroad.
