A unique folder for Holocaust survivor children with the works of Moritz Oppenheim - Published by the Jewish Refugee Association in Switzerland 1944

Judisch Bilder - An open booklet containing 8 of the great works of the Jewish painter Moritz Daniel Oppenheim, published by the Jewish Refugee Association in Switzerland -  was given as a gift to the Jewish refugee children in Zurich for Hanukkah - December 1944. 

The title page where two children are seen reading book, signed F.R. On the second page is an introduction in three languages: German, French, and Italian, which states that the eight works presented here were made more than a century ago by Moritz Daniel Oppenheim, and recommend the children to hang two of them or more bedside their bed and to ask their teachers to explain more details about the images. Each painting opens as a book with an explanation about the Moed depicted in the photograph, also in three languages, with special sentences referring to the fate of the She'erit HaPleita. for example in the Yom Kippur text it reads: "The melody of Kol Nidrey shakes the Jews ... the suffering of the world is over, everyone returns home", and other texts intended to teach the soft-spoken children the character of the Hebrew Holidays.
