1. "In the Synagogue", Signed in pencil (lower right) and numbered 36/50 (lower left). Dimensions: 14.3 x 20.6 cm. Condition: Scattered foxing, some peeling. 2. "Dancer", Signed in pencil (lower right) and numbered 98/120 (lower left). Dimensions: 22.8 x 15.3 cm. Condition: Oxidized paper.
3. "Woman at the Window", Signed in pencil (lower right) and numbered 74-100 (lower left). Dimensions: 20.5 x 15.5 cm. Condition: Good.
4. "Couple in the Street", Signed in pencil (lower right) and numbered 13-50 (lower left). Dimensions: 17.8 x 12.6 cm. Condition: Oxidized paper.
Biography
Painter of genre, portraits, landscapes and interiors, Oppler's work is found in several German museums, including the National Gallery in Berlin. Literature: Benezit, vol. 8, p. 25.
