As Georgy Zhukov's chief of staff, Sokolovsky helped plan and execute the capture of Berlin. Document signed 1947, 4 pages, 11.75 x 8.25 in., a military attestation of General Major Roman Plyakin, Head of the Sanitary Commission of the Soviet Occupational Forces in Germany. Sokolovsky signs as commander-in-chief of the Group of Soviet Forces in Germany and head of the Soviet Military Administration in Germany. Uncut, file holes from binding, very good.
