Sefer Pshuto shel Mikra Ba'Torah, Nevi'im Ve'Ktuvim. Marghita, (1943?), Zvi Moshkovitch printing press.
Due to his modesty, the author did not mention his name on the title page; his name is mentioned at the end of the book.
Rabbi Ya'akov Ze'ev Brecher wrote more than ten books. The book "Parperaot La'Torah", which was also printed in Marghita in 1943, is one of them. Now it turns out that the author had intended to print another of his compositions, the book "Pshuto shel Mikra", which is bibliographically unknown!
The book does not appear in libraries in Israel and is not mentioned in the literature of religious study. It is most likely that the copy before us is a single copy printed by the author, who did not have time to print additional copies due to World War II and the Holocaust. This is most likely the reason for the book's rareness.
The author's stamp on the title page.
An additional stamp of Rabbi Berl Weltzer of Banila, the Shamash of the "Imrei Chaim" Rebbe of Vizhnitz.
The author, Rabbi Ya'akov Ze'ev Brecher lived in Banila. He acted for Chibat Zion and the settlement of the Land of Israel.
192 pp.
Condition: Good. The title page is detached and slightly worn.
