AN ANTIQUE RUSSIAN PAPER MACHE LACQUER INKWELL
A 19th-century Russian lacquer hand painted paper mache inkwell desk set. The central part is decorated with a reproduction of the painting Noonday taking a Horse to Water 1877, by artist Hardy Heywood 1842 - 1933. The inkpot lids are also decorated with reproductions of 19th century sentimental paintings.
Dimensions: L: 9 5/8 in. (24.44 cm.) W: 6 3/8 in. (16.2 cm.)
