A manuscript dealing with the Egyptian exile and the redemption of Israel, including commentaries dealing with the `midrash` and `secret` aspects of the above. Seemingly from a Drsha of `Shabbat Hagadol`.
The manuscript begins with the words "and in another way (of explanation) it seems, with the aid of heaven, that the reason He (Hashem) exiled them to Egypt…"
In the middle of page 3 there is a section beginning "and behold it is known what our master the Arizal wrote in "Sha`ar Hapesukim" on the Parsha of Shemot, Adam, when he withdrew from his wife…" dealing with the explanation of the subject according to the secret realm of the torah (the kabbalistic section is around 3 pages long).
There is an autograph with deletions and corrections and a bordered section typical of the personal writing of the "Ben Ish Chai".
The manuscript ends with a solution to the original question it began with, `why the people of Israel were specifically exiled to Egypt? ` therefore the manuscript is a complete topic with a beginning, middle and end.
