Chavash Pe'er book about the Mitzvah of Tefillin in Halacha and Aggada. By Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Ha'Cohen Kook. Second publication with many additions in Halacha and Aggadda. Includes notes by the greatest rabbis of Jerusalem.
In the introduction of the editors it is recalled that "this holy book has become endeared to the greatest rabbis and they kept it constantly by their side. The Natziv kept it in his prayer shawl and said that he cannot keep it away from him even for a day".
On the title page there us a dedication of the publisher, Rabbi Yitzchak Arieli, to Rabbi Simcha Shlomo Levin (on his Bar Mitzvah) "the son of my friend Rabbi Arye Levin Shlita".

Condition: Good. The jacket is missing. Single detached pages are glued to the book.
A small page is added with inscriptions in the handwriting of Rabbi Arye. Among others, a draft for a lyric dedication, in tiny handwriting, which he planned to write on a book he gave to a Bar Mitzvah boy. Some of the letters have faded. On the reverse side of the page, a photocopy of a letter of recommendation written by Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Ha'Cohen Kook about Rabbi Chaim Ya'akov Levin, Rabbi Arye's son, from 1931.
