Me'arat Sdeh Ha'Machpela – Jerusalem 1910 – Single Edition – with Dedication by the Editor, the Kabbalist Rabbi Yitzhak Swissa
By the Kabbalist Rabbi Moshe ben Tzur, on the rules of the true wisdom and the kabbalah, in 138 verses. Only edition.
This work was already known by early scholars, and is mentioned in the Chida's book "Shem HaGedolim", however it was only printed for the first time in 1910 from the author's manuscript.
Long and interesting approbations from the Rishon LeZion Rabbi Nachman Batito and from Rabbi Eliyahu Panizil. Approbations from the Ashkenazi and Sephardi Kabbalists of Jerusalem. Approbation of Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld. An introduction of the editor and publisher Rabbi Yitzchak Swissa.
A long introduction by the author in which he explains the book's content. Amongst other things he writes "when I saw the virutes of the book 'Otzarot Chaim' [by Rabbi Chaim Vital] I decided to write a poem and I divided them into 138 verses and called the name of the poem " Me'arat Sdeh Ha'Machpela"; I inserted into the verses of the song the words of the Otzarot in a very short form. And in places which needed an extensive explanation I expounded and wrote the words of the Otzarot word by word. And I called it by the name 'Divrei Kabbalah' to show that it did not come from me, rather from the holy mouth of the Ari.
I also did more and added of my own content a large addition and I named it "Halacha L'Moshe".
The center of the page is the poem "Me'arat Sdeh Ha'Machpela", in clear and vowelized letters. Around it are the commentaries "Divrei Kabbalah" and "Halacha L'Moshe".
At the end of the book is another poem "Keshura D'Mheimanuta".
On the inside of the cover a page is attached "Minchat Zikaron", on which is a dedication in the handwriting of the editor of the book, the kabbalist Rabbi Yitzchak Swissa, the author of the book "Va'Yizra Yitzchak".
69 pages.
Condition: Good. Moth holes on the cover, and a few moth holes on a small number of pages. Loose pages. The title page is detached.
