Two volumes, many paginations (with every prayer a new number begins).

Condition: Very Good. Original covers. The spine in the Yom Kippur volume is loose.
b. Prayer Book for Jewish Sailors and Soldiers, a prayer book for Jewish soldiers in the British Army. London 1918.
A prayer book which was published by the offices of the Chief Rabbi of Great Britain for the benefit of the Jewish soldiers and sailors in the British army who were enlisted to the British war effort in the First World War.
The prayers were printed in Hebrew with a facing English translation. In the prayer book are several prayers which were specially composed for the success of the British army, and the British National Anthem translated to Hebrew.
In the back of the siddur a special letter from King George and Lord Kitchener, the famous field marshal, who served as War Minister at the time is printed.
On the title page is an ownership stamp of a Jewish soldier from the battalion in Israel.

c. Erech HaTefillot, Paris 1930.
A machzor for the three pilgrimage festivals, with a facing translation to French. Translated and published by Rabbi Alexander Crehange (1791-1872), an Orthodox Jewish leader, who also fought for universal values and was active in the French Revolution in 1848. He published several translated Jewish books, and also published a Jewish newspaper.
