Envelope with postage stamps of "Palestine Eretz Yisrael" – The Postmark is Earlier than the Official Issuance Date of the Stamps, meaning the Stamps were used Prematurely – Most Rare
An envelope sent from Tul Karem on 18.9.1921 (indicated by the many postmarks on the envelope). However, the postage stamps on the envelope were issued at a later date, in 1922. Actually, they were printed earlier and were kept until the official issuance date, as is customary in every issuance of stamps or bills. In our case, a stamp or two were put in the wrong place and were used prematurely before the official issuance date.
Size: 12X9.5 cm.
Condition: good.
