A. Calendar of 1930, published by the Jewish National Fund. Pocket size. The calendar includes an introduction about the Jewish National Fund and its goals. At the end there is a summary of the JNF's activities. On the back cover there is a table of the number of Jews in the world according to continents and countries.
Condition: Very Good.
B. Calendar of 1940, addendum to the "Moledet" annual, published by Mass Jerusalem together with the JNF. The calendar contains Jewish-historical references on the appropriate dates. At the end of the calendar there are two lists of memorial days, one Jewish and one general. In addition, the calendar contains illustrations of the sky of the Land of Israel during the four seasons of the year and a season calendar of the fruit and vegetables in Israel according to their months.
Condition: Very Good.
C. Appointment Calendar for 1949, published by the JNF, Jerusalem. Pocket size. Hard cover. Includes an introduction about the enterprises of the JNF and information about the Land of Israel such as transportation, topography and more.
Condition: Very Good.
D. Calendar for the soldier 1949. The first (pocket size) calendar for soldiers. Published by the IDF and the JNF. On the first page appears the signature of Mordechai Filtzer, Yemin Moshe, who gave the calendar to the soldier Zion ben Saul.
Mordechai and his wife Penina did not leave the Yemin Moshe neighborhood during the war despite the shelling and the fact that it was evacuated from all its residents. The Filtzer family was the last family to remain in the neighborhood and Mordechai even joined the IDF fighters, despite being 68 years old. On the page of 21.11 there are several handwritten words about a wounded soldier named Avraham in Hadassa Hospital.
