1916 JUTLAND BATTLE COMMEM. DIPLOMA FOR GERMAN SAILOR
A commemorative diploma intended for a German seaman, participant in the battle off the coast of Jutland on May 31, 1916 between the British and German fleets. The diploma shows the image of the battleship SMS Deutschland on which mate Franz Masch served, thanks for participation in the battle from the head of the German admiralty. At the bottom is the handwritten name FRANZ MASCH. The diploma with dimensions of 53 x 36 cm was printed at L. Handorf in Kiel in 1916. The diploma has undergone conservation due to marginal losses.
