(Although he is born to be a companion, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel retains the sporty nature of his spaniel ancestors. If he is not sitting on a lap or getting a belly rub, nothing makes him happier than to attempt to retrieve an item of interest, in this case a Christmas stocking. Four varieties, inspired by companions she once knew, (Toby, Beasley, Louis and Jaffa, ) march proudly around Vicky’s cheerful festive design. Their colouration is no accident as Vicky explains that this design features a tricolour, a solid ruby, a Blenheim and a black and tan Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, all with dainty fairy lights dotted above.)
