SIGNED CLOTH AND SHOULDER BOARDS FROM JAPANESE LIEUTENANT GENERAL SHUICHI KASHII
Great lot of two signed items related to World War I-era Japanese Lieutenant General SHUICHI KASHII, includes: his pair of army shoulder boards, each 3.5 in. long, constructed with red and green fabric, gold bullion, and three affixed stars. The reverse side bears Kashii's black ink signature in kanji, as well as a steel clasp. Clasp slightly oxidized at spots, bullion slightly worn, else near fine. Sold with a section of silk cloth bearing Kashii's black ink signature in kanji and chop marks, 14.25 x 14.25 in., the balance of the text untranslated. Very tiny spots of staining, else fine. Shuichi Kashii was a major general of infantry in 1919, the chief for deployment force to Vladivostok, Commander of the 33th Infantry Brigade in 1920, and Lieutenant General and Commander of the fortress in Yura in 1924.
